SDHR organises 5 virtual training programmes for govt. employees

Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) continues to hold its virtual training programmes for Sharjah government employees in the city of Sharjah, the Central Region and the Eastern Region, using the technology of direct broadcast via the program (Webex).
This week, SDHR organised 5 training programmes, which include (Marketing Management through Social Media), (Leadership for Excellence in Governmental Institutions), (Professional Ethics in the Work Environment), (Administrative Planning and Development), and (Dynamics of Teamwork).

The programmes witnessed the participation of 254 male and female employees from various departments, entities and institutions of the Government of Sharjah.

The training programme “Marketing Management through Social Media” aims to provide participants with digital marketing skills through social media sites. It discusses the concept and skills of public relations, effective communication skills, general marketing skills, e-marketing, marketing planning, and SWAT analysis.

While the training programme "Leadership for Excellence in Governmental Institutions" aims to introduce participants to the best government practices in the field of excellence and how to lead the wheel of excellence. Its axes focus on the concept of institutional excellence, government excellence, the role of excellence in developing government performance, the government excellence system, and institutional excellence programmes in the United Arab Emirates, and the relationship between institutional excellence and institutional performance.

As for the training programme "Professional Ethics in the Work Environment" deals with several axes, which are an introduction to work ethics, the impact of work ethics at work, the positive impact of ethics on business. In addition to how to improve production capacity and effectiveness and create a positive work environment in line with consumers' expectations and demands, and the importance of employment.

"Administrative Planning and Development" comes to provide the participants with the skill of administrative planning professionally in innovative and creative ways in line with the vision of the institution and support the process of success in the institution to achieve high performance with fruitful outcomes as well as future foresight and planning for risks. Within its axis, the programme discusses administrative planning, the importance of administrative planning, steps of administrative planning, characteristics of management planning, the link between strategic thinking and integrated planning for functional departments’ strategies, and the use of SWOT & PESTEL models in analysis.

Lastly, the training programme "Dynamics of Teamwork" introduces participants to the concept of teamwork and the important administrative concepts and terminology for correct managerial practice in the field of managerial leadership for teams, developing managerial and leadership skills for participants to enable them to solve problems and lead groups. In addition to providing them with methods and means of preparing and building teams with the development of their skills in team spirit and self-organisation, developing skills to understand the patterns and motives of human behavior and dealing effectively with each pattern, whether to persuade, motivate or influence.
